The Space
The northern corner apartment is larger than the standard studio. It is intelligently designed so the kitchen is separate from the living area by the glass-surrounds of the bathroom. One of my favourite things is when the afternoon sun illuminates this room.
The apartment was painstakingly renovated by a local architectural firm and won recognition for the design. Everything is integrated - from the Denon sound system in the ceiling, the Smeg grill on the balcony, the hidden ironing board and the rain shower-head from the bathroom roof.
Extremely comfortable queen bed, built in desk and armchairs. Open up the bi-fold doors and sit on the balcony in the morning sun, or close up and watch the smart TV in a climate controlled environment.
'Aquarius on the Beach' also offers a large pool that overlooks the ocean. Perfect access to the facilities and entertainment along The Strand. Restaurants are right next door.
It should be noted the shower and toilet are very close together. If you have any accessibility issues the apartment may not be suitable. Please contact me if you have any questions about the apartment!

Studio 1201 is situated in the middle of Townsville's esplanade - 'The Strand'. Offering a wealth of activities from a leisurely stroll along the 2KM coastline or a lively night of bar hopping and dining

Guest Access
Guests have exclusive access to the Studio.
While this apartment is located in a 'hotel' because this is a private apartment so you cannot use the services at the front desk of the Aquarius. You can however use all facilities!
Check in is through a lock box - not the hotel.
Parking is available in the hotel on a first-come-first serves basis
Other things to note
- Please note the small sofa in the primary photos has been replaced with two arm chairs (see later photos)
- There is no washing machine in the apartment but pay machines are available on level 1
- Peak charges (+20%) for public holidays and special events in the city (V8’s)
- Happy to do one night stays an additional fee. Please send an inquiry
- The shower and toilet are very close to each other and not suitable for people with mobility issues
